1.4 Google Drive

If you choose to connect a Google Drive account as storage for your parcels, we ask Google only for your account's email address, to show which account is connected, and for access to the files Parcel Rocket itself creates in your Drive (the drive.file permission) - not to the rest of your Drive. We use that access only to create the folder you choose and a short README in it, to check the space available before an upload, to store your parcels' encrypted archives there, and to read, verify and delete those archives when a parcel is delivered or removed. The archives are encrypted in your browser before they are uploaded, so we cannot read their contents. The authorization Google gives us is stored encrypted. You can disconnect at any time on the Storages page, which revokes our access and deletes the stored authorization, or from your Google Account settings; files already in your Drive stay there.

Parcel Rocket's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use information received from Google APIs for advertising, do not sell it, and do not use it to train AI or machine-learning models.
